Thanks and good luck to you. I hear csulb is very good so congrats on that. :)

thanks cpp mom and i hope your son gets his acceptance soon!

First batch? There have already been acceptances on here

Sent from my SPH-D700 using CC

i guess they meant first major batch upon manual decision? i know csu uses a computer to organize highest to lowest gpa and automatically take in the top GPA’s while the middle to lower ones has to be picked based on human decision?

I am a mechanical engineering transfer student and I still haven’t heard from them yet either. My application status still says, “Referred to impacted plan.” I have a 3.3 GPA with 76 units under my belt so far. I’m pretty much done with all my math and physics an engineering courses. Hopefully we will hear from them soon, preferably this week. Thanks Visom for the information though…

yup i got in regular decision . but out of state haha.

Congrats newyorkmydreams! That’s amazing! Stats?

Did anyone get a reply yet for undergrad architecture?
If not, do you know when they will start announcing their decision?
It still shows “Application Received” in the BroncoDirect thing.
I thought they are releasing results in Early March.

my application has been changed from “Ready for Rivew” to “Referred to Impacted Plan”. I’m applying for Electrical Engr.

@eattheseed
I got accepted for undergrad architecture back in the beginning of January, so I’m pretty sure they’ve been releasing admissions for architecture over the course of the past two months and will continue to do so until the end of March.

@foodman1,

have you accepted? stats?

Stats:
gpa: 3.85
act: 27
In all honesty, I think my stats were pretty average, and I don’t know why I was accepted so early. Maybe because of ethnicity? I’m mexican, so maybe that helped, and I’ve taken about 8 AP classes and all honors, so maybe that helped also. And I haven’t accepted yet because I’m waiting on Berkeley, UCLA, and USC decisions which should be coming in the next week or two. I’m hoping my portfolio will help me out for SC. But I think I will be attending Pomona though, it’s a great school for architecture. But good luck to those still waiting!

Ethnicity has nothing to do with admissions. Affirmative Action was banned since 1997.

I suspect that for transfers, it will always be till the end when they get notified, seeing how the rest of the universities work in Cali.

If it has nothing to do with it then why is it asked on the app

Sent from my SPH-D700 using CC

It is used for statistical purposes, they explicitly state that in the application. Its for the federal government.

@foodman: it wasnt luck! you got in because you deserve it!

My son’s Bronco Direct just turned to provisional admit. Good luck everyone :)

Congrats computermom! Stats? :)

Computemom is that an impacted major?
