Anyone heard from Cal Poly Pomona yet?

[DPA - Personnel Policies - State Holidays](http://www.dpa.ca.gov/personnel-policies/holidays.htm) - It is a state holiday. My bad, MOST schools have it off.

Either way, my point was that CPP is closed today, thus there will likely be no admissions updates until Monday. Whether or not your particular school is open is irrelevant to the conversation.

So, I’m at Application received & complete - submitted 11/12/11.

Stats:
Undergrad - First time Freshman
California Resident (non-local to CPP)
GPA: 3.68
ACT/SAT: 19 / 880
EPT/ELM: Req. (Taken Mar 17th)
Major: Food & Nutrition Science (can’t remember if was impacted or not)
Acceptances: UCSC, SDSU, SFSU, Univ of La Verne, Menlo College
Rejections: UCSD, UCI, UCB, CSULB

I concluded I didn’t get in until I came upon this forum! I guess there’s still “hope”. You can never tell if a school will accept you, San Diego SU has a lower acceptance rate than CSULB yet I got rejected back in Feb by them. My top choice is CPP, I really hope I get admitted, it’s killing me lol.

Im so ready to find out

still application received… here are my stats:

3.6 weighted gpa, 3.4 csu gpa
580 math and 510 reading
microbiology major.

I hope I get in… since I don’t want to go to ucr…

Is it too late to get accepted to an impacted major as a FTF?
I applied to civil engineering and my app still says application received.
My stats:
3.65 weighted GPA. ~3.4 CSU GPA
SAT1: 600 Math and 570 Reading

@jal1231 My friend, also a FTF, already got accepted to civil engineering loooong ago… and his stats are slightly worse than yours! Ironic huh?

So I think you will get in or else lets start a riot against the admission department lol

@blue0058 oh really? That’s good to hear I was worried because the only person I know who got accepted to cvil engineering has crazy good stats like a 4.1 GPA
Would you happen to know your friends exact stats or close to them? I’m just curious…

and at this point I’m already ready to start a riot against admissions with how long they are taking!!! hahah

I heard everything left now are only waves of rejections…
Never heard cal poly pomona sending acceptance this late

Plus i noe people who s getting rejection letters not acceptances(their application status still says “application received”)

That sucks to hear

@ wjsalfckeroo Please don’t post negative comments that lack any evidence other than what you “heard”. Admissions have yet to utilize the waitlist. Several cal states, ESPECIALLY Pomona, tend to lag their decisions up until late june based on what other people reported on this thread the last couple years back.

Don’t give up hope like that.

@tum741
My bad if anyone s discouraged but this is reality. accept it

Positive or negative it wont change what cal poly does, and I dont think anyone will stop checking their portal because of what someone says on CC.

@softballkc
r u a transfer?

I would not get discouraged yet. If you check earlier in this thread from last year, people were being admitted way past April 1st.

Yep, well hopefully will get to be a transfer and not a third year CCC

@wjsr
It’s clear your comments would not deter anybody from simply giving up, it was just uncalled for to make unverified claims in your previous posts.

wait…
if ccp sends waitlist in june, and we have to send admission decision in may how does that work?
what if we already said yes to another school and cpp says yes in june that ur accepted then what!? can we change? or are we suppose to call cpp saying “oh if i get accepted in waitlist then i will go to cpp” but what if we dont?
so confusing. they shouldn’t lag till june. i mean april thats good. but june for waitlist -____- NO!
im lost.
could somebody clear this up for me please?

OK i wasnt talking about transfers ONLY freshmen. It is extremely late for us.

As of right now I’m hoping that it’s not too late till April 15th when they said we will know for sure. As of right now everytime I call they act as if they haven’t been through all applications yet. I’m hoping at least.
