<p>I just got in today with 3.3 GPA, transfer student, Computer Science major.</p>

<p>Hi everyone. I’m transferring and just today my status was changed to “Provisional Admit”. This sounds great and all but I’m a bit worried. I need to send my initial transcript for the final decision but I’ve been reading about this ECD thing. It said that you must pay the ECD before May 1st but my application barely asked for my transcripts today. I cannot pay my ECD until I am fully admitted. I’m seriously doubtful that I can clear my transcript before May 1st. Will I be rejected because of this? Also why is Cal Poly Pomona making me do an impossible task (sending transcript, getting admitted, and paying ECD) in less than 5 days?</p>
<p>So every body getting admitted here is a transfer it seems.
Does anyone happen to know the status on first time freshman? Are there any trends of admission going on?</p>
<p>So far I just see transferring computer majors so far… And some other non impacts. I hope the decision is made before may 1st 
for cpp</p>

<p>@RekiRaki: Idk. I came home late last night and looked to see I was provisionally admitted. So, I went down first thing this morning to the transcript office and asked if they had any rush services. I explained the situation and they said I could go to post office and get a pre-paid envelope to send it in. I paid 18.95 for overnight, but I bet they’re gonna be lazy at the transcript office and wait until Friday…god. </p>
<p>So hopefully they receive my transcripts by Monday. </p>
<p>I had actually made the mistake of sending some in January but it doesn’t look as if they ever got them, lol.</p>
<p>@RekiRaki… I was provisionally admitted as well. My ECD shows that it is due May 10th and not May 1st. You might want to check on that. Also the ECD is basically to let the school know you going to be enrolling there for the Fall term. Since you are a transfer I’m assuming you are still taking classes at your CC. As long as you pass your classes and keep your GPA up it is fine. Just send them over after your current semesters grades have posted.</p>
<p>@corey82481: On mine I don’t have anything owed. No payments or anything needing to be made. When does the ECD thing show up? I went to the cashnet thing and there’s nothing to pay.</p>
<p>@Caldud… It won’t say you owe it because it’s up to you. Go back to the cashnet site and click on the make a payment tab. From there you have to add the ECD to your shopping cart. One thing I thought was weird is they don’t accept Visa. Only MC, Discover and Amex. Let me know if you need any more help.</p>
<p>@ Andrearevper We’re in similar boats. I’m also a FTF with a 1100 sat along with a csu 3.4 gpa. Biology major still on app received.</p>

<p>@corey82481: Thanks. I just got my ECD on my To-Do list today with May 8th as a due date. The May 1st date I saw was from their “Next Steps” PDF file for transfers. It said May 1st and I got all worried. Now my only worry is that they don’t accept Visa. 
It’s going to be my first time having to use an electronic check (echeck) to pay something.</p>
<p>My Broncodirect still shows my application as Application Recieved but is now allowing me to pay for housing. I still have not been accepted though and I am confused. Has anyone else had this problem?</p>
