Anyone heard from Cal Poly Pomona yet?

@x14sta

From what I understand, this June 1st thing applies only to us Transfers. I was wait listed at long beach, and they said I would hear after June 1st. However, at Pomona I think only FTFs were wait listed while the rest of us heard nothing.

smartBarbie was the one who called admissions, and they are the ones that said Transfers would hear by June 1st.
Here’s the post:

So Pomona… FTF’s are waitlisted without a due date?

Regardless, there are some people in this thread (including EDI1st) who got accepted as FTF after April 15. So there is hope :D!

/scared.

i would think FTF’s are waitlisted without a due date because that’s what had happened in the past couple years. However my email saying that I am wait listed said, " If additional spaces open for fall, we will admit students on our waitlist on a space available basis. I expect that we will notify students on our waitlist of their admission status by June 1, 2012." Idk if they meant they will begin admitting after june 1 or until june 1 so idk there ya go.

Hmmm. Cal Poly Pomona is never really concrete with their details. Always… Procrastinating. So I will attempt to disregard that date and hope to get accepted some day!

So, admissions closes at 5pm. Still on Referred to Impacted. . . Still in the dark >.<

For some reason I had to talk to a lady at the admission and she said people who don’t live local( within 25 mi.) and shows still application received are most likely didn’t make it. I’m not 100% sure about this, you should call them ASAP if it is your case.

Calling in on Monday I guess.

Last year, there was still acceptances as of mid June. Same with the year before. So I guess it’s a no brai we this year…l

What if you’re on app received and you’re within the 25mile radius?

so nobody got in today?

So, I guess that’s probably it for me; outside of 25 miles :frowning:
It’s not on “Application received” but I’m pretty sure “Referred to Impacted Plan” is worse in this case. Looks like I’ll have to call on Monday

I will make that call on monday as well. For me, I guess I’m pretty glad that a CCC will help me at another shot

Sent from my Desire HD using CC

I seriously hope this year, they’ll accept all of us, at least like last minute like everyone else the years before. I don’t care. Come out on June 15! >:I! Or June 8! D:<!

THAT is what im really hoping for! I would be the happiest person in the world if i got an email in August saying that I’m in. But as of right now, that’s a fantasy…

I hope you guys all get in. I am just worried about getting a place to live on campus. :/

I hope you all get in! Just check your broncodirect everyday from now on since its passed june 1st. IDK about you guys but i think the reason why i’m still on application received is because i listed that i will complete speech in the summer but actually i will have it done after this spring semester

Well, for those who were already admitted as transfers, I just got an e-mail telling me that I could submit a housing deposit finally. I hope that is a good sign that I have somewhere to live on campus?

I’m pretty sure there will be slots open… Since not everyone who got accepted on the waitlist will attend CPP. It’s in the matter of TIME D:<!

Is anyone able to register for classes on broncodirect? It says I don’t have a valid registration appointment.

Sounds like we are rejected however, reading posts from two years ago sounds like there is still a chance. Sounds like there is still a chance though slim. We are already enrolled at CSUN but if we get a call, we are changing.

^I’m rooting for you to get in =D
