@Solarmd: mine says- “The status of your application is: Admit by Self-Report Data/Tran”

I just got accepted into CSUN today!!!Though it isn’t among my first three choices, I’m still very excited!!!
Accepted:
CSU Fullerton
San Francisco State University
CSU Northridge

Waiting:
San Diego State University
CSU Long Beach
CSU LA

My Stats:
3.5 gpa
1460 SAT score
SoCal (San Bernadino County)
Major: Anthropology

My first choice is CSULB, so for those who got in as first time freshman applicants, when did you receive your admissions, what was your g.p.a, SAT scores and how close are you to the school itself?

did csun send you an email? or did they just update the web portal?

They sent me an email for CSUN :)

not to be rude but this is for transfer students, not freshmen. I know most freshmen got into CSUs already or are waiting to hear back from the last few. So anymore TRANSFER students?

Im still waiting in SDSU and SFSU.

Im getting frustrated because my 2 friends who are transfers got in to SDSU and my GPA is higher than theirs and their majors are tougher to get in than mine. My status is still pending on webportal.

My GPA is 3.45 and theirs are 3.28 and 3.14

I agree. I am curious about the transfers too.
Still no word from cal poly :/

Haha I was wondering why freshman were posting on this thread too

For what it is worth, the fall 2012 freshman thresholds at SJSU are much higher than for 2011:

[SJSU Admission](http://info.sjsu.edu/web-dbgen/narr/admission/rec-1327.html)

For fall 2011, no major required an eligibility index over 3750 (SAT based; GPA * 800 + SAT-CR + SAT-M), but now several majors require an eligibility index 4000 or higher: art animation, chemical engineering, chemistry, civil engineering, computer science, math, mechanical engineering, occupational therapy (at 4600, the most impacted major). Several majors in fall 2011 accepted students with the CSU minimum of 2900, but none did for fall 2012. Lowest index accepted was 3000 for music, theater, art history, humanities, liberal studies, and several foreign language majors.

They have not yet put up the fall 2012 transfer thresholds at SJSU yet.

[SJSU Admission](http://info.sjsu.edu/static/admission/impaction.html)

Accepted to MiHaylo (Sorry if I misspelled). Failure is an option!

Got accepted to SDSU as a transfer earlier in the week…Business Admin. Finance 3.60

A minimum eligibility index of 4600 for Occupational Therapy, assuming a GPA of 4.00, which I think is the maximum for CSUs, would imply you need at least a 1400/1600 SAT score for Math and CR. An applicant with those stats would probably be accepted at UCB or UCLA and they are way beyond even the best applicants at the lower tier UCs. Is Occupational Therapy a really great career and is it offered only at CSUs and not UCs?

The major title “Occupational Therapy” appears to be unique to SJSU among California public universities, according to [Welcome to ASSIST](http://www.assist.org) . However, there are other majors in the “Occupational Health” category:

Note, however, that CSU freshman admissions GPA is calculated similarly to UC freshman admissions GPA – i.e. with up to 8 semesters of +1 honors/AP points in a-g courses in high school, and 9th grade course grades are not counted (but C or higher is needed to fulfill a-g requirements with them). The main difference is that CSU includes 12th grade course grades when available.

Still, a CSU EI of 4600 is quite high.

darn you SDSU, so longggggg!

^ for reals… I thought they were releasing today!

I am a transfer student so far i got in to
San Jose
Sf State
Sac State

I am waiting on
San Diego State
Sonoma State.

Just checked status. Admitted to SDSU as March 01, 2012
Pre-Econ Major
3.45 GPA
local area transfer not TAG

Got in at CSU Long Beach as a Pre Film & Electronic Arts major! One-year transfer w/ a 3.77 GPA.

^ Nice! Hardly see any arts majors around here.

For those still waiting for SDSU, I have local friends who haven’t heard back either, and they’re certain the only reason I got a decision so early is b/c my major is useless. Haters gon’ hate.
