Hey, just wondering if anyone has heard from UCSD recently...like in the past 3-4 days or more recent. I haven't heard from them yet...is that a bad sign??

nope, i havent herd either. starting to worry…

same. here.

Patience is a virtue… don’t fret. Lots of applicants, not enough time. I haven’t heard back from them yet either, and though it’s an agonizing wait, we’ll all know sooner or later. Hopefully sooner.

Not a bad sign, but definitely not a good one. Start to worry if you haven’t heard anything about 3 weeks before the deadline.

Well, the deadline is supposedly the end of April. So if we should worry about three weeks before deadline, we still have about a week and a half left to…fester.

And…it’s not a bad sign, but definitely not a good one. Then which one is it?

I’d have to say, more then anything, the whole waiting thing is just annoying. -_-

i hear the new batch of decisions will come early april, so next week we should hear something

I am getting anxious too.

ahhhhhhhhhhh!!

The next batch should come out the first week of April. The whole SDSU computer glitch is making the UCs extra careful. My friend at Admissions who works for UCSD says they are being very careful and taking everything one thing at a time. Obviously they don’t know how much of a hassle it is for you all waiting. My apologies for them, lol.

Please don’t start stressing until mid-April!!! They have thousands upon thousands of applicants!!!

Good luck to everyone and keep your head up high! [:

I was accepted, but I found out on the first possible day. No one that I know of at my school has been admitted in the last few days. Seems that everyone who knows found out immediately. Hang in there!

Does UCSD have any kind of spring break where they won’t be releasing any decisions? Or is everyday pretty much game?

Yeah, i don’t know if this helps, but we should all be notified before May 1 definitely. Just a little more wait…not! :)

Their spring break is this week…maybe that’s why?

“Not a bad sign, but definitely not a good one. Start to worry if you haven’t heard anything about 3 weeks before the deadline.”

don’t make claims with no foundation.

How is there no foundation to that claim by UC_Transfer?

Since UCSD is a rolling admissions school, it is safe to assume that if you havent heard back while the deadline gets increasingly closer, then you should begin to panic more. Do note that some schools that do rolling admissions usually post all of their rejections on the last few days. And since UCSD has yet to reject people, that is most likely going to occur.

Im assuming you havent heard back yet?

which other UCs do rolling admissions??

chibi- How did you know about UCSD doing rolling admissions?

saba- I’m not sure, but I know that UCSB, UCLA, and Berkeley do not. The reasons for LA and B are obvious, but for UCSB because they have already sent out rejections.

grey–I know that UCSD is doing rolling as well–one of my friends called them and asked about this.
