Bryn Mawr's are available online 3/24 and it seems in the past that Haverford has tried to mail theirs so that you get it in the mail the same day that Bryn Mawr's are available online. Just wondering if it will be the same this year.

I was wondering about this too.

Probably later this week. I think last year they were sent out at this time.

Last year, letters were received on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of the third week in March. So, probably any day this week.

Thanks for info norwich. Anyone in PA get their decision letter yet?

according to the woman in the Haverford admissions office, decisions were sent out today (March 24th)… so they should be arriving any day now

How long does it take for mail to get from PA to the West Coast? Anyone know???

^Does the USPS give a calculator or anything to see about how long mail delivery takes? Perhaps this would help you.

My daughter’s is here but I do not have permission to open it. If I had to guess I’d say she’s on the wait list - it’s more than one page but not thick enough to contain a folder.

kebhome, where are you in proximty to Haverford?

This entry is from another thread under Haverford on CC…its dated March 16th…can’t vouch for how accurate it is but;

“Acceptance letters come in a big, thin, rectangular envelope in the mail”

Thursday afternoon on the 25th and nothing in todays mail delivery. We are 35 miles east of Pittsburgh PA.

We are in NJ. It is postmarked yesterday. The envelope is regular business sized, not I’m thinking “big” as described above.

lol, glad that person specified, i thought it’d come in one of those pesky triangular or circular envelopes ;)

LOL, I was stumped by the big…like big compared to letter sized or big compared to business sized. This is driving me crazy. My daughter is in London with her school and will call tonight but said not to open it until she calls. Cruel I think yes?

oh, how awful! i’m afraid i’m similarly cruel to my parents; i don’t even let them check the mail until i get home from school! hahaha. best of luck to your daughter!

lorlor and kebhome, I think the quote I put up is from someone trying to describe an 8 1/2 x 11" mailing IMO not completely sure though.

Ok, she called, I was right, she is waitlisted. So, the waitlisted envelopes are business sized and there are 3 papers in it so just a little bulkier than a single page rejection.

Nothing in today’s mail. We are in the Boston area.

So smaller envelope = waitlist or non acceptance. Kebhome good luck to Daughter - hope waitlist won’t be long and she gets in. I think my son is on borderline and may get the same because he did not interview or visit…not sure though.
