Anyone here in IB?

And....uh, aren't we awesome?

My d is in IB, she loves it, what state are you in?

I'm in IB!!!!!! Not looking forward to my CAS hours or my EE :'(.

swim2daend, if you swim you do know that is your action hours right? My D swims 20 hrs wk, and that fullfills her action hrs.

Does it really???? cool!! lol. No one ever told me that!!

yes, do you swim on a USS team,or even summer league would be the required hours.

I'm not in IB!

I didn't even know what it was until I came to CC.

My school doesn't even offer it, but I knew what it was because I had some friends from other schools that were in it.

wow im going to be in IB soon and my school doesnt need CAS hours. They require 75 community service hours each year. lol, we just have to do community work. Its rather annoying.

IB is the ****, and don't let any stupid AP-ers tell you differently.

(Except for maybe IB Physics. Urgh.)

?

Wow sushant you are lucky -- we need 150 hours and we're only allowed to get up to 20 hours for most activities but luckily I already have enough hours except for in activity (since we only get 20 hours per season we need to play at least three seasons of sports junior and senior year)

is there any other way to get action hours besides sports? i'm a rising junior btw.

DS2 is a soph in a competitive admission full diploma IB program. He is balancing it with varsity football, heaven help us.

My school doesn't offer IB. I didn't even know about it until I saw your question.

wow- fergie went there!!!!

My school offers I.B. The kids are good.

BUT IM SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D (Non-I.B. student)

My school doesn't have IB. I've never heard of it before, either.

My school doesn't have IB, but I am a full time AP kid (with electives that show dedication passion, and all that good stuff). I'm we don't have IB. It sounds, form what I've read, to teach a load of specific things, and is designed to give students all these requirements and obligations. AP kids on the other hand, just cover a wide range of info. and then take a nice ol' test. Plain and simple it is.
