anyone here just get wasted in a party?

Just happened to me last night. A bunch of dumb kids showed up and started taking beer bongs in front of the windows with no blinds on them and neighbors outside called the cops. My friend goes and answers the door and tells us the cops are here. We spend 5 minutes hiding stuff and then they come in. I managed to get out because I blew a .00 and had hid my rolling papers. Then I had the interesting task of finding somewhere to sleep.

I live in a county where no real crime actually occurs, so we have a huge task force dedicated solely to busting parties. All in all 4 cops entered the house and there were two cops patrolling the neighborhood to make sure none of us ran...Tax dollars at work

Fizix thats beautiful... I like how there was a thread earlier, can you be smart and popular. Obviously.

Choking: Same here dude the coppers have nothing better to do.

"I'm the kid who brought her government textbook to her homecoming dance. And the only reason I even went was because I was crowned.

So to answer your question: no."

What kind of school did you go to? Large public, or a private that only cares about academics?

Hahaha, the only reason you would bring your government book to the homecoming dance is because you procrastinated and didn't finish your hw earlier...

About cops busting parties. Never been to one, but my neighbors regularly get busted. Um, like every weekend. Haha. So YES, it happens. Even though I live in an upper class suburb, I feel like I'm in the ghetto walking out of my house over trash and beer bottles and black and mild and joints and ****. It doesn't help that there's a cop car permenently stationed at the top of my driveway...

Then again I have rather unique and infamous neighbors. Every time I meet a new person, it's like, "OMG! You live next to [neighbor's name]! Do you know them? Have you been to one of their parties???"

Only time we got busted was when someone let a loud-mouthed friend get her hands on a phone...she's never getting invited again...

To answer the OP's question: Yes, those sorts of parties happen all the time, but the cops-situation is not the norm.

Really? There have never been any parties like that where I live. I mean, small groups of friends get together and smoke pot and stuff... but nothing huge like the parties that go on where you guys live!

...but then again, I live in literally the most boring, uptight, WASPy town on Earth, so I wouldn't really expect anything crazy to happen =)

i've only been to one party like the ones you guys are talking about. this girl held this huge party at her house, rampant with drugs and alcohol. apparently a group of guys were so wasted that they threw someone in a pool. that person was drunk as well, so when we fished him out he was pretty messed up. we called the paramedics and the party ended on that sour note.

i must have been the only person at that party who wasn't completely wasted.

but other than that, parties around here are pretty tame. lots of drugs and alcohol, but they rarely get busted. most high school kids here just go over to nearby college parties if they're really looking to have some fun.

I'm really baffled that so few of you have been to a party where the cops came. It's a rare occasion when the cops DON'T show up, unless it's a small get together of 10 people or so.

Maybe we're just smarter partiers? Just kidding, but who knows

I'm just a freshie, and though a lot people drink/smoke/do drugs, we never had a party SO WILD that the cops came. Plus, most of the time their parents are there who don't care AT ALL, so even if they did show up, the parents would just cover for us.

wildness isn't a factor in my area. most times kids can get away with insane parties, but other times kids will be arrested even if they aren't involved.

that's sweet about the parents, but "procuring alcohol for minors" can get messy

alrite, here's a crazy story about my friend. so his kid is basically the biggest pothead i know and during the homecoming game junior year, he comes totally wasted. half way through the game he starts to take off his clothe and all the people in the stands start to look at him (including parents who were at the game). he was so wasted he ended passing out in the middle of the stands and the cops had to come and take him away. because he passed out at the game tho, he didnt get the attend the homecoming party. day after the game was psat's and he told me on monday, he missed filling in some of the bubbles. the whole school knew and everyone joked about it. very funny and i actually didnt feel sorry for him at all cuz his punishment was he got his phone taken away and that was it.

^^Haha...wouldn't passing out naked in the middle of the stands the day before PSATs be punishment enough?

They've instituted a new rule where I live that if they find minors having a party(with alcohol or drugs), the person who owns the house is liable. A few parents have been arrested already.

I'm surprised no one at my school gets in trouble for being drunk at dances. So many people are always drunk at homecoming and prom, and they even threatened to use breathylizers (sp?) but nothing ever happens. It's so obvious too, last year two HC queen candidates were making out drunk right in the middle of the dance.

And we have mega parties all the time the everyone knows about. Usually out on this dirt road, or at a random person's house but they are rarely busted. I've never been to a huge party with a lot of drinking, but many of my friends have and they could have easily been arrested. For instance last year one of the star football player's parents let him throw a huge party out at his house (kind of in the boonies lol) which basically half of everyone I knew went to. I had swim practice the next day (not to mention I would have never gotten away with it) so I didn't go but it was apparently pretty crazy.

I don't think many of these parties get too far beyond alcohol and cigarettes or pot though. But the media doesn't overdo it though, these parties are real lol.

dank--a city right next to me, well kinda inside of my city, just put that rule into effect. parents get in trouble and get fined like $500 for each kid that was at the party.

ive been to some wild parties...luckily never actually been there when cops busted it. cut it pretty close a couple times. the time i acually got busted i was at a park...cops pull up, people drive off and the car i was in got pulled over. not a good night...

my friend had a party recently and some guy OD'ed (he didnt die tho) on coke..luckily she didnt get in trouble with the police.

sometimes police just wait outside of houses and watch..its kinda weird. i guess they are just looking to see if they see ppl carryiing alcohol around outside so they can bust it.

i wasnt at this party..but over christmas break this guy had a HUGEEEEEE party while his parents were out of town. actually he had like 7 parties. and one night a police helicopter showed up and chased down some ppl with the lights. luckily the copper was not there for his party, it was chasing down some loose criminal or something. no one got in trouble. it goes down as the party of the year pretty much for my school. he had a party the next day after that haha

i wanna second cowtippers advice about not parking outside the house. its a good getaway in case the party is busted. not to say you should be driving drunk, definetely shouldnt, but you and a sober person can escape to the car through some woods, backyards, whatever, and drive away like normal citizens, lol.

anyways if you want to get the most out of a party and not worry too much about being busted, just go to a college party. if theres a college nearby. i know some weekends me and some friends will drive an hour just to get to this nice party college haha, but we know some ppl there so thats probably why.

This past Saturday, students from three local schools (one being mine) were caught and arrested for drinking underage. There were five kegs of beer and several bags of marijuana. There's more behind the story, kind of. Read more about it from the news:

point your car towards the exit, have a back-way to it. check for keys every 5 minutes. Every minute when drunk...if the popo comes up to you, point away and say some kid was drinking beer and ran with it; act like your not even affiliated.

I party every weekend... so many things have happened I honestly can't remember anymore. The cops come to almost every party we have though, especially on the beach. Everything we do is huge, like 50 people minimum
