Anyone here know of any prestigious business summer program?

Anyone here know of any prestigious business summer program?

-I applied to Operation enterprise

I wanted to know if there were any other programs out there.

Yes, it's called an internship at a major company

like......?

could you name an example?

Wharton: Leadership in the Business World.

Nobody beats Wharton in business. :)

anything else? I tried LBW but it was a no.

what zippo means is:
find out which company is tops in your major--if you are looking at operations, you'd want to look at a top flight manufacturing company, if marketing, a consumer products company, if finance, a I-banking or financial services firm, if accounting, one of the Big 4 accounting firms.

Then apply to them for internships based upon courses already completed and previous experience already acquired.

On top of gaining great work experience, it also gives you a chance to make sure you really like this kind of work prior to graduating (thus allowing you to change your major if you want to do something else with the rest of your life).

Just apply to a bunch of companies for internships.

In my case, i'm a high school junior interested in investing and trading. Would it be a waste of time if I sent a letter to major brokerage companies in close proximity asking if I could do an internship. Also i live about an hour away from Greenwich and Stamford CT where there are some major hedge fund companies. Would it be possible to just get some type of job there be it a paper filer, secretary, i don't know, that could eventually prove valuable in the future because your getting your foot in the door and you have something good for your college app (business-related internship).

Mahras is a junior in high school and has/is interning at a hedge fund. So it's definitely possible.

LEAD Minority Business Program
