Anyone here use Mathematica?

<p>I'm just picking it up and I'm getting an output to a problem I can't recognize mathematically. </p>

<p>Specifically, the "0.(1/a)^1." before the exponential squared confuses me. Never seen that format before. If there's anyone around who knows what it means, I'd really appreciate it.</p>

<p>You aren't entering what you think you are- you want Exp[stuff], not exp( )</p>

<p>Gah, I should have known that. Yeah, that cleared things up, thanks. Unfortunately, it also meant there was no simplification for the equation, but meh, that's my burden.</p>
