Anyone higher than 1380 SAT and not get in?

I understand the first wave of notifications are out. Any comments or surprises? I thought my 1380 SAT would be fine but I was pushed to the second review, whatever that means. Any one get1380 or higher and get pushed back too?

i wouldnt worry too much… my friend who also applied had a 1450 and he didnt hear back today either! which is surprising. on the other hand, i was accepted with a 1280. that was early decision tho so it may be different. be patient, its probably in the mail  good luck though!

** i think i may have read it wrong the first time. i didnt realize hat you said you were put for second review. but from what i heard its a step up from wait listed. with a 1380 though you should have no problem

1500 and didn’t hear as yet … so i guess there was no particular order

I thought I deserved to be admitted, but 1500? How bad could the rest of your application look? Maybe you must have a criminal record or something. But you didn’t get the “second review” email so I’m thinking you may still get an acceptance. Congrats on that SAT. Good luck. Do you really want to go to TCNJ?

I think the 2nd review doesn’t mean alot. I have friends with better stats then me get pushed to 2nd review. I had a 1340 and even got a decent scholarship, so maybe they tell honors later or something like that? Or they’re considering you for honors or something of that sort.

i have 1430 and 34 act and was pushed to second review also =/ ive heard that it could be for honors program or scholarships tho…hopefully!

That’s crazy! Why would they be pushing people like you to second review? If they wanted to consider you for honors they could accept you first and let you know the honors application is still pending.
The Dean on the other thread says they don’t only look at SAT’s But how poor would the rest of an application have to be to reject you and the other person who had 1500? I’m going to have to go to the other thread and ask the Dean. Good luck to us all.
