<p>Why are you freaking out. Aren't most people's first few choices extreme reaches? I always thought that all of your choices, including safeties, should be well researched, and places you would be happy in.
Anyway, I have heard of lots of people happy at their "lower" choice schools. Some did not get in their top choice, while others did get in, and then for financial reasons went to other schools.</p>
<p>Your college experience will be what you make of it. If you continuously think you should you should be at a better/other school, you probably won't have fun in college. Just enjoy it, i am sure you'll be happy at any good school.</p>
