Anyone in like this in high school?

1) Virgin
2) Never KISSED a girl
3) Never had girlfriend or a good group of friends (acquaintances don't count)
4) Never been called to hang out/invited to parties

Has anyone been like this in high school, and then have changed drastically in college?

yes

college is college. be free! let go of your past

I recommend you read Notes from a Friend by Anthony Robbins, and if you don’t know who he is, I suggest you watch one of his TED talks on Youtube. What I love about the book is his matter-of-fact manner in speaking about self-improvement techniques, and just to offer you a glimpse into the genius of this small, albeit immensely helpful piece of work, here’s a quote from one of his chapters on decision making.

“So many people are trying to drive into the future using a rear-view mirror to guide themselves, if you do that, you’ll crash”

Good luck!

Man I really hope this idea of “change” is realistic in college.

You choose what you do. If you want to be like that, you choose it. If you want to be social, you choose it. I choose to be like that in high school.

^ I definitely didn’t choose to be like that, but here I am…

I thought I was the only one! You’re not alone, AshwinSundar…

It’s hard to change to in high school, since you’re surrounded by people you’ve known since you were little. They all expect you to play a certain role. But in college, you’ll be around a bunch of people you’ve never met before. They have no idea who you were in the past and they won’t care. It’s all up to you.

this kid posted the same thing in HSL.
