Anyone in-the-know, please convene!

I just wanted to know what Financial aid documents an International transfer has to send in. I am pretty sure FAFSA does not apply to me. So, I just have to send the institution-based documents (CSS?). What else? Where can I find these documents?

Colleges usually have their own forms for financial aid forms for internationals they can be found on their financial aid websites usually. It’s often called the statement of income. Some colleges might only need CSS and nothing else

I’m asking specifically about:

-Brown
-Dartmouth
-WUSTL
-Cornell
-Harvard
-Tufts

I have this weird financial aid document. https://financialaid.brown.edu/cimages/2010-11_International_Fin_Aid_App.pdf</a>. Can this be used for the colleges I’ve listed, along with bank statements and income statements??

Yup. I’m also an international transfer. Most schools I’m applying to only need the CSS. Only one of them has its own form.
Just call and ask if you can’t find it on their website.

Do I have to pay for the CSS? the link above is to an application, but according to the college board, I need to pay for it. Also, which school has its own form?

For the form from Brown you don’t need to pay. That is because schools like Brown are need-aware for international and therefore need to see your financial status before deciding on your admission. Other schools, like Harvard, that are need-blind (they are need-blind, right!?) and have FA for internationals, usually take the CSS which you have to pay for.
You can PM me if you have more questions… I’m in the same boat as you, so just ask.

Thanks, man. I will definitely be in contact with you.
