Anyone in the Robert H Smith Business School

Hey, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. I actually go to UMCP and I recently did not get into the undergrad Business school intended to do Information Systems.

Would you recommend me staying at UMCP and doing a double major in Economics and Criminal Justice and then applying to the Grad School to do Information Systems
OR
Should i go to a waaay less than average school like Bowie State University and do Information Systems for undergrad and then apply to the UMCP grad.

Do you have to do an undergrad major for Info Sys. in order to pursue it in the Grad School? Alot of people have said that you would need a proper background in programming in order to do so. THANKS!!!!!

why double major in economics and criminal justice? That seems like a waste of time if u are trying to get into Information systems. Can you do Computer Science...my guess is not because it is tougher than IS, but it would be a viable alternative if you could.

As for whether you need an IT background for the masters program, I would guess not but it would really depend on the program (contact the school).
