im planning on appealing to ucla ........ i really wanna go there

i'm planning to appeal to UCI and UCSD if I get rejected..

you guys have no grounds for an appeal. Just casue you don't think its fair doesn't fly. Just accept the rejections and move on :)

why do you care if we appeal mieZo? also some people don't have anywhere else to go, so its kinda hard to just move on.

why do you care if we appeal mieZo? also some people don't have anywhere else to go, so its kinda hard to just move on.

The whole admission process is so stupid and random, it should be challenged.

i have a question, do we just write an essay or do we have to provide some evidence that we have received a certain award? Or other evidences?

try to find experts in this yeah appeal if you all want its hard, but its still worth a shot u may even have a better chance appealing b/c that shows how much u want to go to that school. Gather som stats for me about appealing.

mieZo you can do whateve you want but i m going to appeal.....

Do you think that becoming a valedictorian is a viable cause for appeal?

I got rejected from UCLA.

4.44
1380 SAT
32 ACT
700
750
680
for IIS
Moderate ECs
i think that my essays were good... not full of heart-wrenching hardships but written well.
And I am Hispanic, but my parents have masters and a fair salary so i guess i am not disadvantaged...

What do you think? Can anyone help please?

Ah they should have let you in Slippy! Anyone know if appealing to a school is binding? Or can you just appeal and turn them down if they do reverse their decision? I
m asking because I
m planning to appeal to both Santa Barbara and Davis. (3.887/1250)

Howdy there stranger. I hope you get in to wherever your heart desires ronton. You seem like you'd be a really awesome guy. :)

.....hey do you happen to like meese? :D

lol, in fact I do.

that stinks slippy nice stats Sorry being valedivictorian is not a viable cause. It really has to be something new like you won the National ... Award or I was in an accident during my application process. Somethin that will change their minds.

Also something you can include in appeals are letters of reccomendation. If you have stong relationships with teachers, school administrators, or anyone else who is credible, you can get a really good reccomendation that people in the normal UC application process don't get the chance to show off.

yeah but letters of recom. are basically requied
