i studied in the general course last year at LSE in the international relations department, it was pretty dope. ask me any questions you got
Hi, I currently have 2 5s right now at the end of junior year as an American student and Ill be able to get predicted 5s on my AP Tests for next year (for sure 5s on most of them when I take the tests). I was wondering if LSE requires 3 5s on AP tests at the end of junior year to receive an unconditional offer?
At least- & the 3 would need to be from their list of ‘relevant’ APs.
so I cannot receive a conditional offer with 2 5s?
I find it hard to believe that they will not provide an conditional offer as I am taking over 10 AP tests as a senior, so that should count for something.
- In my first post, I meant conditional offer not unconditional offer, sorry I think that might have lead to confusion
Yes! to get an unconditional offer you have to have at least the minimum requirements; to get a conditional you need to have enough that you have already demonstrated some potential and seem likely to be able to go the distance. If the two you have are anyway relevant there is no reason that you couldn’t get a conditional offer.
I’m not sure why you are taking more than 10 AP exams next year, but more power to you. Just be aware that LSE can - and has- made offers that are conditional on specific subjects- and I know at least one person who had conditions based on 4 APs (though one was a B level AP). Be really really sure that you can make a 5 on any that there is any chance could be part of your offer.
