<p>Is anyone looking at or interested in Ohio Wesleyan?</p>
<p>Feel free to ask any questions about Ohio Wesleyan. I am an alumnus and I'll be happy to answer any questions that you might have about the college.</p>
<p>How challenging is the pre-med program, and do they gives lots of aid?</p>
<p>I was gonna post pictures of the campus but this site wont let me. Its a nice college, I only live 20 minutes away.</p>
<p>I wasn't pre-med but I've heard it is pretty hard. Read the comments on campusdirt.com about Wesleyan and you will see most of the students who majored in the sciences thought that the curriculum was excellent but quite challenging. Ohio Wesleyan does give a lot of aid but mostly to student who fit certain kinds of minimums. It will be impossible to get any merit aid if you have low SAT scores. I believe most of the students who get merit aid have SAT >=1300 but I am sure SAT scores are neither sufficient nor necessary condition to obtain aid...as long as you can demonstrate strong academic potential, you may become a candidate for merit aid. </p>
<p>dude3, i saw you posted a message about Wesleyan? Are you interested in applying? If so...I should let you know that it is a fairly liberal liberal arts college. I know this may not be your cup of tea :))</p>
<p>not applying because they dont have my major. the liberal part is ironic because Delaware Ohio(where its located) is like 70% republican from what I understand.</p>
<p>Fortunately, the stats are reversed when you look at Ohio Wesleyan students. For the last elections, about 80 percent voted and out of those 80 percent 70 voted for Kerry. </p>

<p>The discrepancy is not hard to explain...the Delaware, Ohio population is not very well-educated and fits the type "I go to church every week" whereas the Ohio Wesleyan students are mostly from liberal parts of Ohio, New England or international and the type "I ignore God on a regular basis". So, there you go...</p>
<p>What do you want to major in?</p>
<p>if I go to Purdue it will be Movement Science(basically kinesiology)
if I go to others it will be Kinesiology with a specialization in exercise physiology</p>
