Hi....

I just wanted to gain some insight about the Bachelor of Arts in Health and Human Services/MSW program at the school or any interdisciplinary program, really. How does it work? Wanted to hear from the students in the program. Do you regret the choice because the load is too much or are you happy about it?

Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

My D is in a combined BS/MS program at UB and looked at the BA/MSW last year. She is only a sophomore this year but is taking classes and doing an internship for her required hours this summer and expects to continue doing so, in addition to a 5-6 classes every semester. Luckily, UB offers some of the classes online and has TAURUS, which helps her find local alternatives for summers. It is busy, but she likes the thought of graduating in 5 years instead of 6. The advisors for her program seem very good and the biggest challenge, so far, has been registering for the undergrad prerequisites she needs when she needs them (some courses are only offered once a year, and some only in the summer). Are you transferring in as a junior?
