Anyone know about this college of general studies

I have had an aweful HS experience and I won’t make it into BU but I heard the college of general studies is easier to get into. What exactley is it> I know it is 2 years, but after I do the 2 years do I have to do 4 more years or transfer in to the regular under grad college? Does anyone have any statistics of who makes it in there? Thank you very much

2 years in CGS where you do your basic courses, you then transfer into a regular BU school for your final 2 years. The admissions page on BU's site will give gpa/sat averages.

I applied early decision to CGS this year. What you wondering about?

Here: <a href="http://www.bu.edu/admissions/apply/class.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.bu.edu/admissions/apply/class.html</a></p>

im in CGS right now.. if you have any questions let me know..

jpod do you know when the exact deadline for early decision is? If I apply to BU I would go CGS since my grades arent that high.

November 1st deadline for CGS and the reg. school Early Decision. Just so you know, ED is binding.

Yeah, don't apply ED unless you're 100% sure about BU.

If jPoD doesn't get into BU, it'll be a sad, sad thing.

And this is Sibyl_Vane.

Not only is ED binding--- if your stats are in line for CGS, you won't get any merit aid, so be prepared to accept whatever financial aid package they give you.

jPoD would be sad if he didnt get in. He is on the lower end of the spectrum for GPA, but pretty much in the middle for SATs. jPoD doesnt need financial aid at all. jPoD is prepared and would be very happy going to Indiana if he gets rejected ED at BU.

We are rooting for you JPOD!!!

Appreciate it dogs.
