<p>Any class anyone has particularly enjoyed or thought was easy?</p>
<p>for category 6, i took “diversity & racial conflict.” (w/ prof. ransford) for the most part, it was pretty interesting and you dont even have to do the reading b/c he goes over it in class. it was also quite easy. a midterm, a final and one empirical research paper (which i had fun with!) for the midterm/final, he gives you 7 possible questions a week in advance and on the day of the exam, he chooses 4 of the 7, and then you have to answer 3. so it wasn’t so bad. i got an A in the class.and even though the empirical paper is 10 pages, it goes by really quickly because of the field work you have done. this class also satisfies diversity.</p>

<p>Philosophy 137, Social Ethics for Earthlings and Others, is a really interesting class with an amazing professor (Sharon Lloyd). She’s kind of insane but the real deal. The class is pretty challenging as a whole, though. Our midterm is 2 weeks before the final so my grade is totally up in the air, even if I submitted all our weekly “exercises” and got full points on all of them. It’s a great class to learn from (political philosophy from Star Trek! and Gattaca (which our first paper was on)) but unsure about how it will help your GPA.</p>
