One of my friends is doing pre-med at the University of British Columbia, a premier university in Canada. She was wondering how easy/hard it would be for her to go to medical school in the United States, would prestigious schools like Harvard, Johns Hopkins, or the Mayo Clinic accept someone with a undergraduate degree from Canada and would she be judged harsher than someone who went to say an average university in the United States? Also another one of my friends said that she could just go to Med school in Canada, then come to the United States to take the Medical Exam to become an MD in the US and save a lot of money by going to Med school in Canada. Is this a good idea?

Thanks
