Anyone know of any nice condominums?

That are near by the campus? And by near I mean within 1.5-1.8 miles away. I have looked at Eagle's Landing and Biven's South/North, etc.

I heard Garland Condo's was good. I think Hidden Lake has some.

The Kenningston North/South are less than a mile from the western edge of campus. Bus stops outside the complex and it takes less than 25 minutes to go to the Union or back to the complex. The Condo fees include high speed internet. They are 2 bed 2.5 bath about 1176 sq ft. Prices have come down from 155K summer 2006. The majority are 135K to 149K (the better ones are pool views)

Everyday there are cute people sun bathing.

University House is where I'm gonna be living =) Check it out:

Has anyone had any experience with Oakbrook Walk? It sounds like an insane deal.

$175K for an eight year old seems a bit pricey. There are new units off 34th Ave brand new with a flat screen TV for that same price. Most rents for 2 BR run 850 to 1150. Plus prices are falling all over G'ville, great time to buy--buyers market all over FL.

Might be useful, I have never used it: The Dean of Students Office

I live in Mount Vernon Apartments, right next door to Campus Edge condos. They just opened up this year and they still have some brand new ones left for sale. It's on like 8 bus routes and you can bike to class from there. The website is Campus Edge Condominiums - Homepage. =)

I'll be in Oak Brook Walk starting Summer B. I'm rooming with a friend who's brother lived in Oak Brook for 4 years and loved it. Also, his dad is into real estate and he swears by Oak Brook.
