Anyone know someone accepted to 5+ Ivies?

I know most people with the potential to get into 5 or more Ivies don't apply to that many, because it's a lot of work and/or they don't like that many of the Ivies. However, do any of you know somebody accepted to 5+ Ivies (if so, include stats, if possible, and whether they were waitlisted/deferred first at any). How about 5+ of Ivies+ (which includes the 8 Ivies and MIT and Stanford)?

whats the point of this thread? it seems pointless. its not about stats when you’re truly that of that calibur. its about the way you think and view subjects in the world, which will be conveyed through your essay.

I met someone at my current university who was accepted to three Ivies: Cornell, Brown, and U of Penn, but they decided to come to the University of Chicago because it was closer to home.

I do know a girl who was accepted to almost every Ivy. I think she ended up going to Yale. No clue about her stats, but it is possible to be accepted to multiple Ivies.

I agree with collegebound41. That said, there was a girl at my first high school who was accepted to Harvard, Yale (SCEA), Princeton, Penn, and (I believe) Columbia. Her stats were the same as those of many people who apply to the Ivies (3.9+ UW, 2300 SAT, valedictorian, 5s on all APs, president of several school clubs). I think it was definitely what she wrote in her essays that got her in, as she’d had some pretty interesting life experiences.

I do! My friend’s sister got into every single school she applied to. She’s currently going to Harvard.
