Does anyone know what kind of stats, ec's, etc. are needed to have a good shot at transfer to Johns Hopkins?

my friend got into their Biomedical programme for Fall 2008 with a 3.9 GPA from Onondaga Community College in NY...

Was he URM? Is onondaga a way above average CC?

Onondaga is the second biggest community college in New York . It is surely an above average CC. It is part of the State University of New York - SUNY.

cc's in new york state outside of NYC are part of the suny system, and CC's in NYC is part o the cuny system. Is he an Urm?

Actually ... its she

Well she is 70% white and 30% black... she told me that she ticked Interracial box

but i have to say...that despite of dropping out of the same college 3 times... she was really adamant this time... she is also the vice-president of PTK .... won numerous scholarships including that Jack Cook Foundation scholarship.... she took part in many conventions... and presided some...

Lol! unlike my friends who were admitted to Cornell CAS and NYU CAS last year with 3.3 and 3.4 GPA from the same college..... This girl really deserved getting in JHU.
