My daughter is 99% sure she will apply to the Mandarin program as she is taking dual enrollment intermediate mandarin this year and she studied Cantonese as an extra curricular but she’s interested in language in general and curious. Her other interests are the Hindi and Korean programs.

The acceptance rates are not released by NSLI-Y, but the reported rate is around 11-15% for all of them. They have more spots for more popular programs. I think (maybe?) there are 85 spots for Mandarin AY and 15 for Korean AY. Unsure about Hindi, but wishing your daughter luck!
