Anyone know what's competative for transferring?

I'm currently at FSU and love it, but there's a program at UF that I want to complete. Anyway, I have a 3.53 overall college GPA (counting one community college course I took in high school) and write for FSU's paper (IDK if that helps). I'm applying for Political Science. Is there any hope?

edit - I'll also have an A.A.

I applied for Fall 09' as a transfer student with an A.A.

i recently graduated with a 3.85 overall and 4.0 pre professional.

My major is political science.

I guess we'll find out in the next few months.

Huh. I'm in high school, but I was a full-dual student. I have my A.A. in Pre-Law, and I applied for '09 for political science too lol.

I had a 3.88 overall and a 4.0 pre professional.

very good GPAs guys, I'm sure you'll both get in, but this isn't really a stats run-down thread.

Sorry haha... I just thought it was odd that all three of us are applying for political science. With regard to your question, I don't really know. If you were coming from a community college with that GPA, I'd say you have a pretty good chance. But I don't know how it works transferring from a different university with an A.A. =/

you asked what's competitive for transfer and listed your gpa.. i did the same.

-shrug-

graduating with AA this semester..applying to The Fisher School of Accounting..3.93 cumulative..4.0 pre-professional
