On the site it says mid-late march is when decisions will be out, but didn't they do the same thing last year and then release an exact date as it got closer?
Please let me know, I am pretty nervous.

If you applied to engineering and they accept you, you should get a “Likely letter” email around March 15th. Other than that, I think all decisions come out around March 28th or so, same time as Cal.

I can’t wait! Since I’m going to be on spring break, I don’t have to worry about not paying attention in school when decisions start coming out at the end of March! lol :D

From the last two years it looks like many people (at least in California) have been getting their letters on March 11/12. Two years ago it was the 11th(when my sister and many of her friends received their letters) and then last year the 12th (I know this from my friends in the grade above who were posting on facebook that day). Although many people are also speculating that they will come out on March 15th this year (not sure of where they are getting that info, but that’s what I’ve been hearing).

It’s official: March 22nd.
[Decision Notification - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/applicant/notify.htm)

March 15th is way too early for UCLA; that’s the speculated date for UCSD.

Yep, March 22nd in the “late evening.” Whatever that means! Looks like March 22 will be a looooonnnng day!

March 22 may be the online notification date, but I’m just saying that the trend has been that the letters come first, so we might not be waiting that long.

@samsam01: Wait, are you serious??? For the three UC campuses I’ve been accepted to thus far, the letter came like two weeks after the online notification. Interesting. Well, if the letter is indeed going to be coming before the online decision, then that just works out better for everybody, doesn’t it? I would love to find out sooner…

@zeppelinlover: Many colleges schedule their decisions in the afternoon or evening to avoid creating distractions for students during class. Or so I’ve heard. For example, UCSB is releasing their results at 3 PM. So “late evening” for UCLA could be anything from 6 PM to 8 PM or maybe even later–it’s anyone’s guess.

@alwaysawriter: that may not be the correct date for everyone, but for the people who applied at my school(bay area) it’s always arrived around the 12th. I sincerely hope it’s the same date for this year, or I’m going to be utterly depressed next week.

OMG! I get off for spring break on March 22nd! I hope I can concentrate in class! lol :D

@samsam01: No letter. I’m also in California (so mailing distance shouldn’t be a problem), but I guess they’re probably not sending letters first this time. shrugs Guess we really do have to wait it out over the next 10 days…

Does anyone happen to know at what exact time the decisions came out last year?
