Anyone know when we find out?

I just got a call this morning about the Lien scholarship. Apparently there are 8 finalists but not a set number of scholarship recipients and yes, you will receive an email tomorrow if you're a finalist. Hope that helps

I'm just talking about engineering scholarships and the university scholars program.

You can go to admissions.wustl.edu and do "check your status" I found out that I got in before I got the letter.

I just went to the "check your status" page, and it hasn't changed at all. Does this mean I didn't get anything, or just that they haven't updated the page yet?

found that you got in where srunni? Do you mean into Wash U ED? Because I don't think they do the scholarships online like they do for decisions on admission.

I go to "check your status" and all it shows is what scholarships I applied to.

Some people may find this info helpful.
Here are the details of the "Check my Status" page after I got in ED:
1. It popped up on December 12 @ 4:00 PM MST (5:00 PM CST, 6:00 EST, 3:00 PST...I know this because I checked many times during the day). The decision was supposed to be posted by December 15th.
2. I called the admissions office on December 11th and they did not know if it was supposed to be posted online. They only knew that "you will be notified in an official manner."
3. My "Check my Status" page changed. All the previous links were still there: "check your application status," etc. However a new one popped up title (something like): "Admission Decision." I clicked that and it brought me to a page describing all the possible outcomes and what they meant. On the bottom, I clicked on a link that brought me to a letter. This letter had my decision on it, and was exactly the same as the one I got in the mail.

This leads me to believe several things. One of them is that whatever the scholarship people told you should be taken with a grain of salt. I'm not sure they know exactly how the finalists will be notified. I heard everything from calling finalists to checking your status online. SO if you don't get an email tomorrow, or nothing changes on your "check my status" page. It means absolutely nothing.

In the past people invited to Scholars Interview weekend have received a phone call followed by a letter. There are 2 interview weekends (last weekend in March and first weekend in April). It sounds like they have begun notifications for the April one. Notifications for the first weekend (Danforth, Ervin, Rodriguez at the end of March) should begin within the next few days.

@bballdude:

Yeah, WashU ED.

The engineering scholarship interviews are in that last weekend in march as well.

What about University Scholars? Is that in the last weekend in March as well? (i.e. invitations haven't been sent out yet)

Wait, what's this Honorary Scholars finalist? is this the full-ride scholarship program that every school at WashU offers? Cuz I applied to some Moog scholarship.

Well . . .sigh Ervin & Rodriguez decisions have been posted on the website and my D was not a finalist. :(

SO! Her college choice just got real uncomplicated! :)

Good Luck to all other hopefuls!

Ouch, rejected by Moog, Danforth, Ervin, and Rodriguez, and USP Medicine. Got the Summer Research Program though, which I can't go to. :(

Engineering has been posted.

Guess that's a no go for me...

I just checked, didn't get University Scholars or Engineering scholarship :(

D is Finalist for Annika Rodriguez!!! Soooo awesome!!!!

hey. i wasn't a finalist for the danforth...but i DID get a letter of early acceptance from the university that was sent in the first week of feb.? anyone else? i didnt even know a letter of early acceptance existed until one came in the mail....

wait...u got an acceptance letter already....i didn't know they came....ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

So we see the namesake "ahhhhhhhhhh." Ahhhhhhhhhh indeed. ;)

yea...my letter said a small number of people each year from the RD applicant pool get the early notification...i was stoked to say the least...
