Anyone know when we're suppose to buy our textbooks?

Does anyone know when we are suppose to buy our textbooks for school?

How about before classes begin.

You should be able to find out what books you require by going to the online campus bookstore. Type in your classes/sections and print out the list of books you need. Then do some comparison shopping.

Well, before class starts would be great, but many professors tend to change the books they use on the first day of class… so yeah. Just keep that in mind.

I’m pretty sure this has been addressed before, textbooks should be bought after the first day of class, when you know what to buy

Is it possible to save money and download all your books from… certain websites? cough torrents cough cough

i am willing to place a bet that it will be really hard to find, but yes, it’s possible.

I dl other books all the time. lolololol

Reading books off a screen = DEATH

pdf files suck anyways

ugh I know I hate to study of a screen I prefer good old highlighter and paper

really? i read so much faster on a screen. haha

Good luck referring to other pages and finding certain topics on a screen…

ctrl+f / search option is available.

Just like people can bookmark pages in a book, you can do that for the screen too… or if not, just write down the pages.

There are pros and cons, of course. But… it’s really personal preference. It’s not likely that the textbook will be on a screen anyway. lol. I’m not too sure I’d like reading a textbook on a screen either, but I’m definitely all for it if you’re reading a regular book.

I guess, but with a huge textbook you’ll be clicking enter repeatedly with the search feature

I guess it does add some mobility though, considering how bulky they can get

jenuwin whats ur major?

should I buy books after register for my classes or should I wait until after the first day?

hahah I’m pre-business right now.

twilight girl, read the older posts. That question has been answered.
