Can you help me? I am accepted by Hanover College (IN) and Coe College (IA). Who is studying in these schools? Give me some advice. I live in Vietnam so I don't have chance to visit these schools? Thanks much.

Both of these schools are small, even for liberal arts colleges. Hanover has a religious affiliation and the students there will be slightly more conservative than at Coe. Coe is in a nice small city in rural Iowa; Hanover is in the woods in rural southern Indiana, and has a very pretty campus.

Coe is the biggest of the two at approx. 1300 students. Likely because it is bigger, Coe offers more programs of study, including nursing. Both offer undergraduate business degrees and make some effort to tie liberal arts currriculum into career prep. Hanover has a one-month spring term where you can study one course or do an off-campus project. These terms can be very interesting.

Not sure how I would pick between the two, as they are pretty close in academic strength and both are friendly, comfortable places. Check the liberal arts degree requirements at Hanover and the Gen Ed requirements at Coe and see if either set has more appeal for you. Also, if you have a specific major in mind check the catalogs at both schools and make sure they have enough course offerings in your areas of interest. If you are undecided about a major, you might give a slight nod to Coe simply because they offer more majors and more courses.

You might want to re-post this on the Parent Board as a couple of regular posters have good current information on Hanover.
