I'm a junior now and decide to apply for Yale's SS (for high school students).
I'll take my second SAT this June and hope it'll be a 2300+. Well, 2350+ if it's possible!
some senior students in my school advised me to take the Harvard SSP.
SSP is actually very good, but it takes 7 weeks and costs 10000+dollars.
And I LOVE Yale.Harvard is not that attracted to me.
I'm gonna to apply Yale when I'm a senior. Therefore, I think it's a good opportunity to take a summer school in Yale this summer.get some interesting classes, earn credits, meet friends, live in the beautiful campus and may get a couple of recommandation letters if professors like me.

so,anyone has been to Yale's summer school???
I need advice!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you. = )

In general people overestimate the admissions benefit conferred by attending summer school at the college you plan to apply to. This is especially true of places like Yale and Harvard.

But if you are very eager to spend some time on Yale campus, and if the money is not a big deal, then sure, go for it. If you don’t end up going to Yale for college, you will have at least had a ‘Yale experience’.

Concur 100%. Summering at Yale is the same as working as a camp counselor or working at Dairy Queen in terms of how Yale admissions will eventually rate it.
