anyone knows?

hello
I already applied for fall 2011 and i want to know when do they usually reply if i got in or not?
thank you :)

Normally like the last Friday in March. I’m so anxious to hear already…

Me too!
thanx …

Last year it was Friday, March 26th at 5pm online.

I’m dying to know my decision already.

I can not even describe what it would be like at my house if I got a likely letter (which btw is extremely unlikely). I can’t imagine the feeling of recieving one of those letters.

UVAorBust…Dean J posted last spring when people were in a panic because they didn’t receive a likely, NOT TO WORRY. She said VERY FEW likely letters are sent out. (Perhaps she’ll chime in and tell you how many – I have no idea.) Also, the receipt of a likely does not guarantee Echols/Rodman and visa versa. D had 4.0 UW and 2250 SAT; she got a likely (mid-March I think) but did not get an invite to Echols. She started UVA with 49 hours (11 APs/1 DC), so it really didn’t matter as is the case with most of UVa’s top applicants – they’ve already fulfilled their distribution requirements. Plus, you can always apply in the spring of your first year if you so choose. I think around 1/2-2/3 of first year applicants are accepted but don’t quote me.

We also had a likely letter at our house for one S. It is a nice feeling UVAorBust. My best to you as these next several months pass until decision day. I have enjoyed reading your enthusiasm for UVa for quite some time. Question for you, did you apply EA anywhere?
