I applied to about 25 government jobs through usajobs.gov, the department's web site, the white house, and e-mailing them directly. I also applied to some private organizations. I just received an offer from a very good organization, but it's not my first choice because it's not a government organization. My first choice is to land a government-related internship so I don't know if I should turn it down or not. Has anyone interned at any of these places (they are all in DC by the way)? Or does anyone have experience with this? I don't want to reject this offer and then not be able to land the government internship either? What are my chances? Don't know if this matters or not but my major is Economics and I am a senior. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
