So, I'm only a sophomore at the moment, but my college counselor at school has already suggested I start look at my college options, and I have been getting quite a bit of mail. At the moment, my top choice is Reed College. I love the liberality of the student body as well as the combination of intelligence and eccentricity, which is something that I have been unable to find in my high school. I'm also looking at Princeton, UChicago, and Northwestern, but mostly Reed. U of M and MSU are my backup schools.

So, so far my stats are this...
UW GPA: 4.0
W GPA: 4.33
I took AP World last year as a freshman and received a 4, I am taking AP U.S. Gov and AP Biology this year, my predicted results are a 5 and a 4, respectively, determined by practice tests and the schoolwork.

I received Magna Cum Laude (highest honor) for both 1st and 2nd semesters as a freshman, and my 1st semester. (2nd semester hasn't passed yet, but I think I will either receive Magna Cum Laude or Cum Laude)

I will end up taking 12 AP classes by the time I graduate, and at the moment my class rank is #2, as determined by grades, ECs, and Community service hours.

I took the PSAT as a freshman, and my scores were
Critical Reading: 70
Math: 67
Writing: 69
I believe these will have raised by the time I take it again as a junior (fingers crossed)
I also took the pre-ACT thingy mabob to estimate what your ACT score will be, and mine said the range between 30-33.

My ECS so far are:
MUN member (9th-10th, I plan on pursuing this through 12th) 1st place trophy in IGA at a conference in 9th grade
Musicals and Plays (9th and 10th, again, I plan to pursue this though 12th)
Organizer of Improv for Shelter Dogs! performance (currently working on this, its an improvisation team and we are setting up a performance and donating the funds to the humane society)
Forensic Science Club member (9th)
Running for SC VP next year (idk if I will win though, haha)
Peer tutor (9th,10th, and I plan on doing this through 12th)
me and one of my teachers are working on starting a debate team. (My school is really new, so we don't have a lot of stuff yet)
Teen Library volunteer (9th)
Tennis Club member (10th-maybe 12th)
and I work at a frozen yogurt store (10th-hopefully 12th)

I have 118 service hours so far, and I aim on gathering more.

Awards:
We take these really annoying computerized tests, and so that's what the following 2 are based off of
Highest language test score (1 per grade) (9th and 10th)
Highest reading test score (1 per grade) (9th and 10th)
Zero Disciplinary Referrals (1st semester, 10th)
This is just so far, and I know its not a lot because colleges really look at junior year, but I still would appreciate my chances thus far. I really think Reed is a good college fit for me, because I love learning so much, am super liberal (I'm a bit of a socialist), and I'm really weird (as in, I wear a cape to school on the 3rd Friday of every month. Don't judge me).

I would really appreciate some feedback, thanks guys!
