I'm assuming that most (all) the people who are posting on here are planning to get their apps in by Nov 1...... If you're planning to apply but not until later, why not?

(and how many of you Priority appliers are going to still be working on their app on Oct 31?!!!)

Will a 92.5% weighted 90% unweighted and a 1400ish SAT get me in on the Jan. 1st deadline. I’m instate. Also, will I miss out of Scholars or financial aid if I don’t apply by nov. 1?

I’m applying Duke ED and want to focus on that application right now.

I didn’t apply for the priority date cos I kinda blew off the application lol. I’m guessing it’s either that, or they’re focusing on an EA/ED app, or they’re using UMD as a safety and aren’t too concerned.

I believe if you don’t apply by Nov. 1 you almost certainly won’t get consideration for Honors/Scholars. And something like 95% of all accepted students are from the Nov. 1 deadline. You put yourself in a big hole if you don’t apply by then.

^^Agree w/ bornin92. You can still get need-based financial aid if you apply and are accepted for the later deadline, but you take yourself out of consideration for honors/scholars and merit aid by not applying by nov 1.
