Anyone not hear back from Carlson yet?

I've called them a couple of times already and they keep pushing the date back. "You'll hear by April 1st", "You'll hear by April 16th", "You'll hear by May 1st".

They did tell me in early April that the first batch of letters were sent out, so I'm not sure if many have heard yet.

What do you mean hear from Carlson yet? For admission?

Yes, that’s what I mean.

Have you been waitlisted by Carlson? In their acceptance, Minnesota told me Carlson was going to be my school of study and I was admitted right away. I know that waitlisted students have been hearing back from Carlson right about now.

Not sure, havn’t heard a peep and it’s ****ing me off. How does registration work if you find out you get accepted this late? Do they save some spots in classes for students who have not heard yet?

Registration? I’m pretty sure that’s much, much later. I still haven’t even confirmed my enrollment lol. Now you’re making me feel like a read my Carlson letter wrong, haha. I’m sure you’ll be fine.

For transfer students, registration doesn’t begin until mid-May. It’s probably around the same time for freshman. I’ve also heard that certain sections open as needed (especially with labs), so if some stuff is closed or almost closed now, check back later to see if more spots have been added.

i was waitlisted earlier to carlson and havent heard back. do many people get accepted off of the waitlist?

I think it would be helpful to learn the deadline date for kids accepting the admission offers.

It varies per year. I think they are waiting for the May 1st deadline to see how many students will actually enroll (yield rate), and then start accepting waitlisted applicants.

Hope this helps :)
