<p>Just wondering if anyone was going to stay on campus those 4 days, or is everyone flying home? School's out Dec.10 anyway.</p>
<p>My S will be staying in Chicago, the rest of the family will be out of the country.</p>
<p>We were thinking it was pointless spending all those hours to fly home for turkey, when exams and the big break are around the corner. But at the same time, don't want her to be alone.</p>
<p>When I was there it always seemed like a fair number of people stayed, but the majority do go home. Actually, my worst grades were always fall quarter which I kinda partly blamed on the holiday being a week before finals.</p>
<p>It really just depends on how far away you live (for example: I go home and invite my friends with me since I am just about an hour and a half drive...), whether you're going home for winter break (which nearly everyone does unless you live in an apartment of course...and even then), and assuming you are going home how early you're going home. Some people leave the first few days of finals week....others stay until the last possible moment.</p>
