<p>Brokeback Mountain should not get the award Crash should get it. But guess what, guess...Brokeback will get it. Why? Because of the messed up social workings of every part of life. Remeber when a while ago every movie with a mentally challenge person won, well guess what make a movie with gay people in it and bam you got yourself an Oscar. </p>

<p>I agree that Crash is an excellent piece of cinematography. But i also think that brokeback had better strategy. it came out closer to the actual oscar nomination time and it stirred a lot of controversy, which is most likely why it will win.</p>

<p>Yea Hollywood is messed up...American Beauty, Monsters Ball, The Insider, Brokeback, Syriana..seems like any movie which pushes the wierd or taboo as the norm, or promotes socialism is a guaranteed winner. In the recent years anything with a minority actor is a winner, too.</p>
