Its kinda sad that my team has sucked for the past um....forever? You can tell that my team suxs because i made varsity freshman year, and i was the only freshman male to make it.....We place like 5th to last in all the tourneys every year.......but at least we have fun!

How good is your tennis team? How good are you???

I play on my school's varsity team and we're not spectacular, but we've been better the last couple of years than we have been in a long time. However, outside of our school district the competition is pretty tough, so that's where we get stomped. Oh well. We'll have 5 returning people this year, so hopefully we'll be even better than last year.

Man, that just made me realize that practice starts in like 6 weeks. This stupid snow needs to go away so I can get out and hit a bit.

I play tennis-boys. Tried out for team every year and made it only one year( freshman. Go figure.) Our team is pretty good. We had several state champions last year.

ya ya... anyway, i played for 2 years. i sucked, but my team was awesome! we won state both years i was in it, and they have continued to win since i've been gone...

I play tennis but only with friends.... not on a team. Its a good social thing... get together at the club, play a game, and have lunch. I really suck though. I'm surprised that they let us play because we horse around so much.

I've won districts, regionals, and state since my frosh year (girls singles) and play USTA state and national tournaments. don't mean to brag, but since its so friggin hard to beat people's gpa and sats on CC, i gotta bust out my extaordinary tennis skills...

You guys/girls should try to join USTA (US tennis association). it has a lot of tournaments for players of any level, from beginners to junior pro...

I play quite a bit of tennis when my brother comes home from college. But that's not very frequent, so I don't get as many hours in as I'd like. I'm potentially good, when I practice. I get sweet angles on my backhand, but my serve accuracy could use work.

Who's your favorite player? Mine is, by far, Agassi. He's still doing it, and he's the only guy I've seen actually push Federer into a corner. That 5 set match in the US Open was one of the best I've seen. Plus, he's a great guy personally. Not full of himself like many of the other young'ins (Roddick.) He's starting out this year 14 pounds lighter and quicker on his feet, so I'm looking forward to seeing him kick ass.
