Anyone Preparing Toefl???

hi I just wanna know how many of you preparing TOEFL.
well, i'm an international student so I must take it to get into college(I think...right?)

how are you guys preparing? what kind of books or tutor things...?

I am. But I'm not really preparing, I haven't even looked at the format yet. But I guess that studying for the SAT I helps a bit for TOEFL too :)

Well, I suppose the TOEFL examiners will be "preparing TOEFL".

The rest of us prepare for TOEFL

Well, I guess technically we are preparing for the TOEFL.

I took TOEFL some times ago. You really need to stady to get a good score. If you can, go to special classes or sudy with a teacher. If it is hard, just solve as many tests as you can find and read the grammar rules you made the mistakes on. Also practice the essays. Ask somebody good read them and comment.

well i did the toefl recently... bought myself the barron's preparation book, but found that most of the stuff in there was useless... just inform yourself how to structure a well written essay and practise a bit of speaking because i found it rather difficult to plan your speaking in (i think) 15 seconds and time your speech exactly to 45 seconds.... scored 117/120

yah teh speakin was tricky, but over all TOEFL was one of the biggest joke tests that i have faced.....easiest than easier.........:), got 118 without preparing a thing.
