Anyone Receive an Ohio State Email like this?

<p>Hi All, Did anyone receive an email today titled “Ohio State University”…it started out like this:</p>

<p>“Now that you completed the Ohio State application, what is the process? Once we receive your high school transcript and official test scores, we will review your application. We anticipate that you will receive a decision within 10 to 12 weeks. Decisions are starting to be sent to students who submitted their applications earlier this fall…” </p>

<p>My S received one today, even though his application was complete the third week of September (two months ago)?? His status has been “evaluation” since 9/24. We are OOS, maybe that makes a difference?</p>

<p>Just curious! Thanks.</p>

<p>My D got the same e-mail…read it an hour or two AFTER she had learned that her application status changed from “Evaluation” to “Admitted” so it all seemed a rather mute point!</p>

<p>Btw…she submitted her application on 9/11/11.</p>

<p>I’m not exactly sure, but I think it was just a few hours difference. She checked online in late afternoon and learned her status had changed from Evaluating to Accepted. Then in the early evening she showed me the e-mail that you mentioned.</p>
