Anyone receive award/financial aid

Has anyone received their financial aid information/awards yet?

I spoke with someone at UW and he said that they have yet to look at financial aid stuff.
But May 1st is closing in and I was just wondering if anyone did hear how much UW is offering them.

Thank you!

I got my Award letter two weeks ago, but it wasn’t anything besides loan offers because my EFC is pretty high.

@coug45, so you didn’t get any financial aid but only got loan offers? O.o
If it’s not too much, could you share roughly how much your EFC is and how much the loan offers were?
Thank you!

full ride!

in loans :(

It’s still a full ride! Congrats though!
Ughh, they finally update the status and it says that I have missing items.
But I don’t know what missing items to turn in.
Gotta call them Monday :
Hopefully it’s not too late. T-T

Anyone else hear back from how much they are getting from aid?

My EFC was about 68,000. They offered me enough loans to cover the cost of tuition this year.

I got like 8000 in loans too. And the rest are grants and scholarships. And I talked to the finaid people and they said that if you are need-based and your parents can’t come out with the efc, they will try to help you. Something to do with Husky Promise.
Just for good measure, WSU gave me more scholarship money than UW and my final loan will only be 4500 and my parents don’t have to contribute anything.

Ahh, I just got my awards today.
Received 8,400 in Grants and the REST of the out-of-state tuition in Loans. :frowning:
The rest would be about $29,000 to $30,000
