<p>Well I got an alert that the Financial Aid package was ready to be accepted on my GROWL but when I went in, it wasn’t there and now that alert in MYUCR portal is gone under the Alerts tab as well. </p>
<p>Darn!</p>

<p>@Dimas Yup…I’m not getting any financial aid at ALL…My parents want me to go UCR, and I’d definitely be happy to go UCR, but I don’t think they fully understand how much of a financial burden it would be to take on that much debt. They make pretty good money(~140k), but still. Although going to UCR would give me a much better chance of graduating in 4 years than I would from a CSU.</p>

My college choices stand at CPP (if accepted), UCSB, and UCR since it is closer to where i live … any of these school id be okay at.
My brother signed a 4yr pledge at CPP that gaurentees him to graduate in 4 yrs so that a plus?</p>
<p>On April 10, I went to UCR for a campus tour and asked admissions/financial aid whether I will be getting my financial package soon. The lady said the packages are getting distributed starting on Friday 4/19. I got it on Friday morning! 
I’m assuming they will be giving the rest out this week.</p>

<p>I received my financial aid package over a week ago. </p>
<p>You need to go to your Growl page, under Financial Aid, and click on Award Status for 2013/14.</p>
<p>All my financial aid grants & loans were there to either accept or decline.</p>
<p>i just called and they said mine will be ready in 3 weeks… wow</p>

<p>@haroof alright thank you, may i ask what it consisted of? because i do not qualify for cal grants or pel grants and they estimated 15 thousand in gift aid so im a bit uneasy about that…</p>
<p>I got my award, I have to say they were pretty generous and They gave me a Chancellor’s Transfer scholarship. Never heard of it before though.</p>
