I got the 75% too ... I still can't believe it!

luckkkyyy >.<" i just want my acceptance letter NOW lol

Got the same e-mail. Kinda stoked. :P

oh wow congrats!
are there any more scholarships left? lol

i've been checking my email like crazy today..
oh man, can't wait for thursday to come >____>

wow, you guys are amazing! kinda jealous

so, unless you get an e-mail saying you got a scholarship, there's no way to check your status online? Waiting for a letter is so stressful!

Hey everyone... Those who got the email about the scholarship, did you all apply ED? Or RD?

Per the Vandy Admissions blog, they are a day behind. They are going in the mail today.

^^ Amnesia: RD

usps has a cost and time estimator.
i got 3 days estimate for a large envelope to Wisconsin...

Vandy said they were mailing via Priority Mail. That is usually 2 days to most places.

I think most of those that are in will get it today. My son got his acceptance the day after sent in Nashville area (they might have been sent later in the day this time since there were so many) so I think a lot will hit today. Good luck!

this time they wwere sent very early in the day, if u look at the vandy blog there are pictures of laoded mailtrucks. That post was made at around 10AM....

I've said this in previous threads, so excuse me for repeating, but for those of you who are melting down - please don't assume the speediest priority mail times. It's safe to guesstimate that over 2000 priority letters were sent. Probably closer to 3000. That means the longer time frame will apply. S was a RD admit in spring 2002. We live just 2 hours away and it took 3 days for the letter to arrive. A friend who lives around the corner got her priority acceptance package the day after it was mailed, so we were obviously pretty anxious. In Dec. '05, the ED situation worked the same way (all ED letters are small). Letters mailed late Tuesday evening - other ED applicant from D's high school got his on Thursday; hers didn't arrive until Friday.
Good luck!

^^^ Yup. Nothing came in today's mail-- and we are only 1 state away. :(

BTW, I don't believe it matters what time the truck left Vandy, its when the PO sends then out from their PO, and that's usually at night.
