Accepted M-660 V-600 W-690 Sat II's - 690,690,740 ACT -29

My d got her acceptance yesterday -
basic stats:
4.6 weighted (3.8 non weighted)
1210 SAT (plus a 740 in the essay portion that they don't count)
class rank is #20
all the AP classes she could take (her school doesn't offer many).
All the rest of the resume is pretty strong - well rounded, etc.

I was hoping to hear something about scholarships - but I think they said February. I think this is her #2 - she didn't hear anything about scholarships to her #1. She did get something from each of numbers 3 thru 6. Just my luck!

I still didnt get mine here in CT

I got my acceptance letter today. I'm so excited, but it's not my top choice.

wow I'm so stupid, I called to see why I hadn't recieved my decision yet and they said I never applied and I was like what? So I go online and sign in only to see that I never hit send and had all ym stuff in. I guess I must have checked off that I sent it on my list and got confused with the 13 schools. Whatever, looks like regular decision for me now

Is there anyone who applied Early Action who HASN'T heard from Loyola yet (either accept or defer)? Out here in Colorado, we haven't heard a thing one way or another, even though Loyola commits that Early Action applicants will "learn by January 15." Please let us know if anyone else out there is still twisting in the wind.

Here's an update on our waiting for a letter saga. ( see above)
Short story: After some phone calls to admissions and being told to wait until Jan 22 to see if the letter finally shows up in Colorado; no letter has come.
I spoke to the admissions office this morning. I was told they will have the office manager will send ot my son's letter and packet of information. I asked what happened in the first place. It seems the job of mailing acceptance letters was out sourced to a company!! I was told by the women in admissions that the whole thing was " pretty much a disaster and we wont to that again" Nice.
I was told that my son was accepted, a bit anticlimatic at this point. This has put a bad taste in our mouth about Loyola. This is the second year in a row that they couldn't get the acceptance letters mailed out correctly.
The end.

There is a very good chance I'll be going here next fall. Anyone else?

Still no letter as of February 1, even though we've been told that the letter was mailed on three different dates. Glad we applied Early Action. Maybe we'll actually get a letter by the time the regular app notifications go out. Not sure why anyone would want to go to a school that treats its candidates so shabily.
