I'm doing a major in applied math. I've completed all the lower divison math classes required and I'm planing for my first upper division math class for the next semester. Any recommendation on the first class that I should start with? For example taking math 110 at first then math 104. Or is it possible to take them at the same time? Any advice will be appreciated.

I took Math 104, 110, and 128A all in one semester. Definitely doable.

104 is a good introductory proof course that deals with limits, series, sequences.

110 is a little more rigorous proof-wise, but it moves slowly enough in the beginning that you can pick up proof writing skills along the way.
