Anyone RSVPing to UCLA-AAP Transfer Scholars' Day?

Or has anyone already RSVPed? I don't know yet, but I did feel kinda special getting the email, hahaha!

I'm sure by Friday I'll know whether to RSVP or not! If I do, hope to see some of you CCers there! (:

Is everyone that got admitted suppose to get that e-mail?

I thought everyone was supposed to because it seems like UCLA’s version of “Admit Day”? I just got it at 1:59pm, haha, but assumed it was bulk mailed. o__o;;

AAP is a special program, for special people. its not open to all students.

its a very beneficial program, so if you are invited take the offer!!!

plus they have a free continental breakfast and lunch and you get to bring up to 4 guests.

^
Oh wow! That makes me feel even more special! Hahaha, thanks unnie. <3
Now I definitely have to RSVP if I don’t get into Cal, keke.

What does AAP stand for?

The Academic Advancement Program.

ooh kk thanx Jane. & CONGRATSSS =] see u nxt yr at UCLA haha

I was just thinking the exact same thing! If I don’t get accepted to Cal, I am going to RSVP too.

Yep, I’ll be there. No better way to spend a Saturday than eating free food at UCLA.

So how are we supposed to RSVP by email to this? “Yes, I can go.”? haha sorry if this is a lame question, but I’ve never had to RSVP to anything before.

Actually, AAP isn’t just for “special” people. If you log into your acceptance page you can RSVP by clicking on the “Special Events for New Bruins” link on the left side of the page, and then it’s pretty self-explanatory from there.

Also, you can only reserve seating for 3 people including yourself, so you can only bring 2 guests.

I got the email today as well :slight_smile: I’m going to RSVP soon. I’m hoping to maybe stay over that Friday night and get a feel for some of the living situations and social life.

^^ UCcasualty
I thought so! Thanks for the information!

hmm I was under the impression that AAP was for low-income, first generation, and under represented people.

must be a different AAP i was looking at.

@ Yunie

Your welcome.

…p.s. I will be attending the celebration =)

I will let you guys know if I decide to go to UCLA and thus need to RSVP! I’m excited now!^^

Just sent my RSVP. See you guys there!

@Yunie

I think you should RSVP anyways. They say there are limited number of seats and they are available on a first come first serve basis. You can always cancel your reservations… just a suggestion.

Haha, don’t worry, she will. I’m going with her!
