Anyone seen Emma Watson yet?

Anyone seen Emma Watson yet?

No, we’re still waiting for her to drop her cloaking device…

Well, I heard that she came to school in a giant carriage pulled by elephant-sized golden horses, and has been travelling from class to class via thestral since then. No official consensus has been reached, however, since only a few students can actually SEE the thestrals.

A work colleague of mine who lives in Providence saw Emma and her parents recently buying school supplies at a CVS near Brown. Too bad that people in the store were uncool and besieged her for autographs, causing her to run out and leave the rest of the shopping to her parents.
My daughter’s friend at Brown has met her…

Funny how Emma gets all the attention but other celeb-types get relatively zero.

seeing Emma in person would be such a “magical” experience  … yeah, yeah, i know, that was corny…

I’ve seen her. She’s small and well-dressed, but casual. Like every other girl at Brown.

^^ small? As in physically small ? I wonder who her roommate is…that would be a really interesting experience.

I forgot to add…Is she really pretty ? HEHEHHEHEEEE =D

She is pretty. I guess. She fits in here so much that most of us fail to notice her anymore.

I have run into her a couple of times. She is very petite. She has blended very nicely with the Brown student body and people are behaving very normal around her. I am almost embarrassed to say this, but no one really seems to care that much.

I guess, that may have been one of the reasons she chose Brown. When she interviewed at Yale, the whole dining room began to take pictures of her with their cell phones…

^ I heard about people at Yale doing that. I don’t know if it’s actually true but that would seriously suck.

It’s funny how some of the brightest young people in the world can be so myopically star-struck. Emma is of course, Emma but it seems puerile to act like paparazzi in the making.

Totally agree with that. Now, I’m guilty of being THE BIGGEST Harry Potter nerd in the world (books, though, not so much movies), but I wouldn’t take pictures of her, that’s just weird and creepy. She’s just a person; yes, a talented and successful person, but this is Brown - who isn’t talented there!?

I agree, MyOpinion… when I walked into my art class and she was there, I was slightly freaked out, but no one was even really looking at her. And anyway, she’s a cool person. So when I say she actually blends into the crowd of other ridiculously talented students (I just went to Open Mic and it was AMAZING!!! Seriously, everyone here is intimidatingly intelligent/cultured/talented/skilled), it’s actually true. sigh I love my school.

My friend at Brown said her roommate rejected her because of all these legal forms she had to sign and because of the 2 bodyguards o_O

I honest don’t think that there are 2 bodyguards going to classes with her or standing outside her room. That is not so her. :)

Does she get the whole American college sports scene and go to football games? Would be amazing if she was a cheerleader. Europeans tend to think of cheerleaders as a bizarre and peculiarly American phenomenon…though competitve cheering is gaining popularity world-wide.

<quote>Does she get the whole American college sports scene and go to football games?</quote>

Looks like she wanted to take in the college sports scene by going to the football game against Harvard, but unfortunately, had a difficult time at the game :(

I was sure someone would post that, but was hoping no one would…
